Appearance/Personality: Velvet has gorgeous gold hair that flows about as it pleases. Her blue-green eyes are always sharp and knowing. Still, it is her size that draws attention. She is on the taller side at 5'9" and has a voluptuous frame that she knows very well how to use to her advantage.
Velvet is a shrewd businesswoman with her fingers in various business endeavors. The business endeavor she is most passionate about is her own business as an independent Servant of Naamah. She happily takes those clients whom interest her, for exorbitant prices now that she has several incomes. She also loves throwing extravagant parties, where she is the prize at the end of the night for lucky individuals.

History: Eric no Camellia and Angeline no Camellia were heralded as the most perfect adepts in the Night Court during their days of service. The Dowayne of Camellia encouraged them to have a child. That child was Velvet.
Unfortunately, she was not quite what the Dowayne expected. She was larger in all ways than Camellia House normally kept. As Velvet matured, it became clear - at least to the Dowayne - that Velvet would not remain in Camellia. The Dowayne sought another House to take the girl. She was not coldly blonde like Cereus, and Velvet was much too joyous and undignified for Dahlia. The Dowayne asked Orchis, but Orchis immediately turned Camellia down. (Much to everyone's disappointment.) When the Dowayne of Camellia took Velvet to Valerian and Velvet enjoyed the cinnamon candy, the fifteen year old Velvet told the Dowayne that she didn't want to be in the Night Court. She wanted to be an independent servant of Naamah.
That was when Velvet's entrepreneurial nature came out. When she made her majority, she went to the Temple of Naamah and dedicated herself. She used gifts from her parents to rent a small cottage in the South Borough. From that cottage, she served Naamah. She also learned the craft of metalworking as well as dying. Soon, the cottage was the center of business for her service to Naamah as well as selling custom jewelry and scarfs. Within two years, she had made her marque; she continued all three of her businesses as well as began investing in other entrepreneurs' enterprises. And by the time she was twenty-five, she had enough money to purchase a mansion called House of the Harlot, where she runs all sorts of business ventures to this day.
