Appearance: While not overly tall in stature, Apolline certainly makes up for it with her looks and demeanour. While her skin is pale as milk, her eyes are dark and quite mysterious. Her mouth has an accented cupid bow, her hair is the colour of a wheat field in the summer and falls in soft curls down her back. She stands with perfect posture, her back straight and her head held high, her dark eyes can tell people exactly what she thinks of them when she desires to.
Personality: Apolline can be either aloof, acting as she is unapproachable, or she can be warm and deeply caring. She has learned how well to act to those around her, how to fit in to the situation. She has learned not to let any in close, that this was the surest way to have your heart broken into a hundred pieces, so now she lets people think they have a chance to be in close, but always leaves them on the outside. After all, everyone leaves her in the end.

Strengths and Weaknesses: Apolline knows her own strength, and is able to look after herself. She knows she can always have doors open for her if she needs them. But this strength comes with a severe weakness in as much as she can never let anyone close. She is lonely, can seem cold more than anything else. She ends up harming herself, while not physically, every time she pushes someone away and they leave she ends up cutting another piece of her heart off.

History: Apolline and Apollinarie were born to a Camellia Courtesan who had opened her womb and continued to take Patrons. They had no idea who their Father was, and even if he had been made aware of their birth, but as this was a way of life in the House it did not seem weird. They were raised in the House, and it was soon apparent that they both fit the Canon of Camellia, and they both went into the Service of Naamah at Sixteen.
Their Début was for the pair of them together, and they were taken that night by a Lord and his Lady from Eisadean, and it was a glorious night for Camilla. The likes of which was spoken of in Camilla for years. They both did well in the House and were usually hired for parties as a pair. They were a favourite at one time, and it was at one of those parties she met her future husband.
He was a recently Widowed Kusheline Lord by the name of Comte Edwin Baphinol, who had come to the City to try and cheer himself a little. He met Apolline and claimed love for her and became her most exclusive Patron. When her marque was complete, he proposed marriage to her, and she accepted despite his elder age (he was 66 when they wed.) She fought with her Brother over the matter, and after the ceremony he never spoke to her again. Apollinarie was convinced she was putting her desire for advancement over her love for the Service of Naamah. She tried to tell him was not, but she was, deep down. She did not wish to admit to such, but she never wanted to be unwanted, as she knew that if she were, she would surely perish.
They were wed for five years, and they were happy times. He was a good man, who loved her, and she cared deeply for him (about as much as she ever had for someone.) He became ill around his seventy first birthday, and he died three months later. She nursed him herself during that time, with her own hands. She did not wish for him to be surrounded by strangers, and he seemed to appreciate such. When he passed, she grieved, but she had seen his death coming in the way he had declined. (There were rumours that she had poisoned him, but there was no proof as she had.)
Edwin's son and heir knew Apolline was not entitled to much, but on his Fathers request he granted her the Barony of Lozere, a more than modest holding and working estate (horses and a small vineyard.) She was grateful to him, and there were a few more rumours that there was an affair with him after the death of her Husband, but they were never confirmed. After spending a couple of months on her new Estate, she has decided to come to the City of Elua. She tells herself it is to find her Brother, but realistically she wishes to be in the spotlight once again, even if it is to be rumoured as a husband killer.
