Appearance: Ninette is a tall, slender and very regal looking woman, with long limbs and a graceful figure. Were she not born and bred into the nobility, Ninette could easily have been from the House of Dahlia as she has a very upright and proud bearing. Long dark brunette hair frames strong yet delicate features. High cheekbones, a long straight nose, and an elegant jaw that can be set in determination, can make her look imperious. Her smile is wide and lightens her, sometimes austere, expression considerably. However it is Ninette's eyes that are most striking. A beautiful brown that is almost luminous in the right light. They can seem warm and inviting, or cold and unforgiving, depending on her mood.
Personality: Utterly self-assured and composed, Ninette is a woman all about control. She likes exerting control over every aspect of her life, including her partners and children, though that doesn't go to say that she's entirely dictatorial, or that she has no sense of humour.
Ninette strives for perfection and never leaves the house without a hair out of place... and woe betide if any of her nearest and dearest do. Her ire is more of cold cutting sort, rather than a fiery passionate one, but still scary nonetheless. That being said, though, she can also be warm and generous, when the mood strikes her. She makes regular donations to charitable causes and to the local Temples, and is often found hosting soirees and auctions to raise funds. She also loves all her family and friends fiercely and those who would hurt them will be sure to feel her icy wrath.
She hates not knowing things or being thought stupid - nothing will get her back up faster than an implication that there's something she does not know - especially if it is regarding gossip or secrets.

History: Ninette was born into a large, wealthy, noble family, and is the middle child of five children, having both an older brother and sister, and two younger brothers. They were a loving and close family, though nearly a dozen years separated the eldest from the youngest. The latter arriving six years after the last - much to the surprise of all. The eldest brother was set to inherit everything, but that did not mean that the rest of the children were left with nothing. Ninette's father was an astute business man and, upon inheriting the estate and title from his father, set about enlarging and enhancing the family's estate and wealth.
By the time Ninette had reached her majority, the family were extremely well off and a more than decent yearly allowance was given to each of the children to do with what they will - Ninette chose to divide her allowance into three - one part she donated to charities, one part she used to buy whatever she wanted, the last she saved. All the children were well educated and wanted for nothing.
When Ninette was twenty, she met a man by the name of Acelin at a party thrown by a mutual friend. Acelin, a noble himself, was enamoured with the composed and self-assured Ninette and, as young D'Angelines are wont to do, the two finished the night in bed together. There followed a six-month passion-filled courtship, Acelin's attraction not being at all one-sided. His submissive nature complimenting Ninette's dominant one perfectly.
They were soon engaged, having received the blessing of both families, and a wedding followed the next summer. They settled down in the city of Elua and it wasn't too long before they were welcoming their daughter into the world. Ninette loved her daughter and husband fiercely and loved being an aunt to her sibling's children, too. In time Acelin and Ninette welcomed their son, Cosme, into the family. However, Ninette's strong motherly love translated to wanting her children to be the best they can possibly be, her husband too for that matter, and pushed to make sure this could be the case. This has caused some contention in the family, understandably with the children rebelling on occasion, though they are still a close-knit family and have managed to weather the storms.
For all her controlling ways, Ninette and her husband have enjoyed an open marriage, both of them taking lovers to their bed, either individually or as a couple, though no one has come between them. They still love each other as much as they did when they first felt that fledgling stirring of romance. Now their children have grown up and left the nest, Ninette and her husband have spent the past few years reigniting their passions and exploring both each other and others outside their marriage.
