Character Avatar: Niall Matter
Character Name: Zane Fortun (formerly no Heliotrope)
Age: 34
Race: D'Angeline
Country/Province: Kusheth/ L'Agnace
Player: Janet
Appearance: Jet black unruly hair, grey/green eyes that seem to see into you. Soft lips that always curl up into a smile at the edges and when he really smiles his whole face lights up. He very rarely shaves properly and thus always has stubble but the black against his pale skin has a very striking effect, something he knows and makes use of.
Personality: Very confident and charming, he knows exactly what to do and say to make his Patron's feel loved like no other. He has a boyish charm too when he smiles and loves nothing more to laugh and enjoy life, though he can balance that with a serious intensity when he feels it's required. In short, he is very much in control of what he says and does and rarely does anything ruffle his feathers. If something does get under his skin it takes him an age to forgive much less forget, and he usually broods on it to distraction.
History: Born through an unlikely union between a Mandrake mother and a Heliotrope Father, both fully-marqued adepts, Zane grew up a remarkably confident yet loving child, happy and content for the most part. His parents, despite their differences, were able and loving parents eventually leaving their respective houses and setting up a home in Kusheth, his mother's place of origin. Zane showed no inclination for his mother's House so it was decided he should take after his father and join Heliotrope. He was a dedicated student and fitted in easily with the House Canon, successfully securing a high price for his début and then earning the love of numerous Patrons. He prefers women but does cater to both sexes, though he tends to be picky as to which men he takes to his bed. His marque is currently two thirds complete and he is confident, almost too confident, of completing it before he turns 21. Zane has now completed his marque.
Updates:
- Zane has had a series of serious relationships that broke down through no fault of his own (that he could discern).
- Over time, and after many broken hearts, Zane became disillusioned with his life at Heliotrope
- It took some time for him to work out what he wanted to do, but eventually, he's settled on running his own salon... of sorts
- He's now left Heliotrope and created a salon to council people with relationship difficulties. He figures with his experience as a Heliotrope and his own broken hearts he is in a good place to offer advice.
- He is no longer an active Servant of Naamah, but a citizen - taking his parents' surname as his own, and already feels much better for it.
- His Salon can be found in the Temple District and is called 'The Sunflower Salon'
