Player: Janet
Appearance: At 6 foot 1, and solidly built, Kwahu is a warrior from head to toe. His muscles are honed from years of hunting and protecting his clan. His dark hair hangs to his waist, sometimes braided, other times tied up, or simply hanging loose. His dark skin is peppered with coarse dark hair and the odd pale scar.
His clothing is made of animal-hide, and is durable and well-worn. His jewellery is minimal and dull, so as to keep from distracting him and alerting his prey.

Personality: Kwahu is a headstrong, focused individual, especially when on the hunt. His prowess at hunting is something that he prides himself on and he'll never back down from a challenge. Unlike most headstrong and proud individuals, however, Kwahu will acknowledge when he is beaten and then will work to learn from any mistakes he's made, or educate himself on new techniques. He's curious to learn to better himself, particularly anything to make his hunting skills better.
Kwahu is also a bit of a night owl, he much prefers to hunt in the late hours of the evening, from dusk onwards. His loyalty to his clan warred often with his strong curiosity and urge to explore the wider world.
History: Born to a single mother, his father having died before his birth, Kwahu was raised by the clan as a whole. They were small in number but deeply loyal to each other. They roamed over a small area, their hunting ground never further than they could walk in a day. Occasionally, they would move on, resettle, but never too far from their last settlement.
To begin with, Kwahu was content with this life. He was loved and happy, but as time passed, as he grew up from the small curious boy who was content with how far he could roam, he began to wonder what lay beyond the horizon. What lay beyond the next hill, mountain or lake.
He tried on occasion, to convince the elders to move further afield, offered to scout ahead for them, to find a suitable place to settle. Every time he was turned down, the elders preferring tradition over exploration. Each time, Kwahu found it harder to reconcile his respect for his leaders and his desire to explore. He just knew there was a wider world out there and he wanted to investigate it.
His opportunity came when an expedition arrived from a far off land. They had moved inland some and had come across Kwahu's tribe. With the aid of translators the new arrivals bartered with the elders, taking their animal hides and weapons as souvenirs in exchange for items of their own.
When they came to leave, Kwahu knew his chance was slipping away, and begged the expedition to take him with them. His elders weren't happy about it, but eventually gave him their blessing, on the condition that he not forget his roots and that he would return to them one day.
Now, speaking barely any of the stranger's languages, Kwahu has ventured on a new journey. Nervous, curious and excited. His only belongings are a small bag of clothes and his bow, quiver and his bone handled knife.
