Appearance: A slight tan to her skin, Maricara stands strong and proud of her heritage written in her skin and form. Her hair is dark and lush, matching her eyes in a rich brown color. What sets her apart though, is her smile. Wide and open, easily meeting her eyes whenever it graces her lips.
Never is she found wearing anything sensible, instead, even in the winter months, showing off more skin than is really necessary. Her stomach is almost always bare of fabric, showing off the toned muscles of her preferred means of coin. Her skirts always having hidden hip high slits in the flowing fabric, to show off the toned legs she has. She is fit, curved and alluring in her riot of colors and show of skin.
Personality: Maricara's personality is as bright and wild as the clothing she wears, with just a hint of darkness behind her eyes. Though a bastard child, left with only her mother to guide her, Maricara refuses to let the weight of the world bring her down. She is always ready with a smile, a joke, a laugh, and is prone to causing the annoying types of mischief (such as shaking food from ones hand when they are just about to take a bite of something).
In her quiet moments, the smile she wears grows softer, but never fades unless the situation deems it inappropriate. Simply put, she loves life, meeting new people, and exploring the City for new corners, despite being able to walk the streets blindfolded.

Strengths and Weaknesses: Her strength is definitely her love for live and living it beyond measure with no apologies. She can be a bright spot in the rain, or a comfort in trying times.
Unfortunately, it is hard for Maricara to be anything close to serious, and it takes her something devastating to reach this state. A lost loved one, a grievous injury. Not even being arrested or reviled can bring her to take anything with a tone of bereavement.

History: Maricara was born in the rain, in the middle of spring, to a mother who was beyond thrilled to have her, and a father who was put off at the responsibility caused by a one night stand. It's no surprise that he wasn't there for her birth, her childhood, or that he never sought her out in her adult life.
This never seemed to bother her, as she had a wonderful and caring mother. Though she was unable to provide her with much, the one lesson she instilled in the young child was that Maricara should walk through life with wonder and love. Live her life to the fullest, as if she never had another day to live. A lesson that she very early on embraced with enthusiasm. Her moto was and has always been, if it isn't hurting herself or the world around her, then she is free to do as she pleases. If someone doesn't like this, they could simply walk away or avert their eyes.
As a child, this showed in her careless way of playing. She could often be found exploring forests and playing in the mud in the middle of a rain shower. She giggled at everything, and that giggle was infectious.
In her teenage years, it presented itself as silly pranks, testing her limits and the limits of rules and laws. She could often times be found in a tavern or inn, regaling the crowds with her latest success of pick pocketing and cons.
This only lasted into her earliest of twenties, when she finally started to settled down with her petty crime and use her powers of enthusiasm to entertain and brighten the masses. Instead of stories, she could be found in the inns and taverns singing and playing a psaltery, telling stories of old, or dancing.
She can still be found in the inns and taverns on days of bad weather, but you are more likely to find her strolling the streets and stopping in crowded areas to preform. This is her main source of income, which she proudly displays around her person as garish jewelry. Something that she preens over when asked, and uses her gifts to tell the stories of the craft of each piece, or how a coin was earned.
