Character Avatar: Chris Hemsworth
Character Name: Mainard Rosevanir
Age: 41
Race: D'Angeline
Country/Province: Camlach, Terre D'ange
Player: Janet
Appearance: Tall (6ft 3), heavily muscled, blonde long shoulder length hair that he ties back with a leather thong whilst working. Piercing blue eyes, stubble and strong handsome features complete the look.
Personality: Very much a gentle giant. He's very hard to annoy, irritate or otherwise offend, though once his anger is stoked it takes a great deal to put it out again. He keeps his own counsel for often than not and is a man of few words. He is intelligent but prefers to keep that to himself too.
History: He was born in a village in Camlach, to a Blacksmith and an Innkeepers daughter. He's the eldest of three siblings, having two younger sisters whom he dotes on. He began his apprenticeship with his father from a very early age when his father noticed that his young son would rather sneak in and watch him work than stay home. Mainard started with running errands and operating the bellows to doing small intricate jobs on the smaller of his father's forge and anvil and then slowly graduating to the larger jobs.
His father taught Mainard well and can he learned how to forge a large variety of items from swords and horseshoes to metal gates with intricate designs. He loves being in the forge and finds calm in the rhythmic movements and sounds of forging and if he ever feels confused or, rarely, when angry, the forge is where you'll find him.
When he reached the age of 25 he decided to set out from his home village and head to Elua, where he hoped to set up his own Smithy. He's been in Elua for three years now and business is slowly picking up.
