Holidays, Celestial Events, and the Real Life Blues

First off, let me say that I hope everyone is managing alright these days. I know things are still a perpetual dumpster fire. On top of that, real life doesn't stop throwing personal punches, even when there are more momentous crises in every direction. It's a lot.

Amongst the many struggles of dealing with this all... I can't speak for anyone else, but my creative drive and everything that fuels it has taken a hit. Inspiration, motivation, focus. So, I want to express how understandable and relatable it is if anyone else is feeling similarly <3

This is supposed to be an enjoyable hobby, creative expression, and also hopefully an escape and haven--for all of us--from rl worries. I want to try and be more present on the board, and see it active and thriving, but we've all gotta be gentle with ourselves and each other. No pressure or obligation.

About the KLverse holidays and schedule: We wanted the holiday events to help perk up the board, but I think this year it was just a bit much - not like any of us foresaw 2020 being what it is. They'll still stand as reference points, and we'll continue trying to incorporate them in the future.

Finally, an announcement!~

To give players and characters a plot-light pond to dip their toes back into, we'll be holding a little soiree. The long-planned Lunar Eclipse fete hosted by Gentian House. In KLverse time the party will be taking place on a crisp late autumn evening, but considering slow posting times and to keep from interfering with rl winter holidays and the following MW, we'll be looking to start the fete in the next few weeks - around the end of August.
