Midwinter Planning 2024

[Janet]

Hello one and all!

It is time to plan the Longest Night festivities!

As discussed, we have picked a simple theme this year and the Night Court’s Winter Royalty will be NPCs. Hopefully, next year, we will not have been kicked around like a discarded pinata and have more time and energy to devote to the planning of this illustrious event.

Since it worked so well last year, we will once again have a forum for each party so you can post individual threads for your meetups/hookups/chat ups. If any of your characters want to host their own Longest Night party, let us know and we’ll create a forum for it specifically. Otherwise, we will follow the same format as last year, with a forum each for the Palace, the Night Court, the Street Faire, and one for any other locations.

So, without further ado, this year’s Night Court theme will be...

Colours!

Alyssum House – Teal

Balm House – Brown

Bryony House – Gold

Camellia House – Blue

Cereus House – White

Dahlia House – Red

Eglantine House – Green

Gentian House – Purple

Heliotrope House – Pink

Jasmine House – Orange

Mandrake House – Black

Orchis House – Yellow

Valerian House – Grey

The Sun Prince this year will hail from Camellia and the Winter Queen will be from Bryony. (We picked the Houses with the least number of selections)

We are planning to kick off the festive fun on Saturday the 5th of January 2024. See you there!
