Appearance: Tall (5'8") and slender, Bonnie always conducts herself with grace and composure. Her dark blonde hair is the type to be styled easily, and she is never truly happy with how it looks. Often fussing with it, cutting or styling it to try something new. Her features are angular, with high cheekbones, long straight nose and wide mouth. Her green eyes are expressive and add a great deal of weight to her expressions.

Personality: Bonnie is a fairly easy going person, until it comes to all things healing and then she is firm and all seriousness. Healing is everything to her, and she never tires of learning a new concoction, method, or herb to deal with injuries or illnesses. Not only does she focus on physical hurts, but she has a keen interest in mental health too. There is one other thing that Bonnie isn't easy going about and that is her given name. She hates, loathes and detests Blanche and as soon as she could she was insisting everyone called her Bonnie, refusing point blank to answer to anything else. Other than that, Bonnie is fairly content with her lot in life, with a ready smile, soothing word and warm embrace for those that need it.

History: Born into the night court, Bonnie has known nothing else. Her parents were in separate Houses; her father from Cereus, her mother in Heliotrope. There isn't much in the way of parental love, but the bond between Bonnie and her sister is a strong one. Bonnie, five years her sister's elder, doted on the young baby as soon as she came into the world. They were inseparable for years, until it came time for Blanche, as she was then, to find her true home with the Night Court. Although fair, she wasn't fair enough to be considered for her Father's House, and Blanche did not like the idea of Heliotrope - professing to love someone you did not. She seemed to have no aptitudes for the arts, did not seem to be particularly sadistic or meek, was certainly not exotic, nor was she proud. She was a happy child, but it was more of a content happiness, than the joy of Orchis. She wasn't a daydreamer, nor was she particularly shy and modest. That left Bryony, Camellia or Balm. Before the young child could be taken to Bryony or Camellia, she was taken to Balm and was enamoured with the Dowayne's description of their canon. Thus her home was decided.

She really began to study hard when she learned that her sister had passed the test for Valerian and would be making her home there. Since they didn't get to see each other all that often, they got into the habit of exchanging letters regularly, and as Bonnie learned new techniques of care, she passed them to her sister and as her sister learned more about her own role in Valerian, she passed on information about the needs she had for aftercare and suchlike.

This gave Bonnie a driving need to understand more about the relationship between Mandrake and Valerian, between Adept and Patron, between Dominant and Submissives and all the layers and levels between. By the time she'd made her marque she was as equally known at Mandrake as she was at Valerian and it wasn't much longer after that that she was asked to teach classes at Mandrake on aftercare and first aid. This she took to with relish, not daunted by the young trainee sadists. She wasn't averse to giving as good as she got, up to and including a clip around the back of the head to a particularly unruly student. To her, the importance of such lessons was paramount and you simply did. not. dismiss. it.
