Appearance: Ellette has tan skin and dark hair showing her Yeshuite roots. Her eyes hazel and large on her face, making her look more innocent than she really is. She is short, malnutrition as a child preventing her from reaching her potential height, and only stands at 5'3". She stays fit though, maybe a slight more than most d'Angeline women.
Personality: Ellette is straight forward on all topics except her personal history. The Dowayne knows what happened and that is enough for her. She always speaks her mind when among peers, but she can hold her tongue when required. Her training has taught her to speak like a noble, but if she has had too much to drink (something she usually avoids) or is very angry (something she avoids much less) hints of her past will sneak through on her tongue. Her time at Dahlia has been mostly trouble free, but years of living in fear has heighten her senses and at times she might seem slightly on edge. Due to recent events and having been in trouble Ellette is more subdue than she was a year ago. She does as she is told, but is not always the happiest. She spends all of her free time practicing her acrobatics. When she is truly alone then she also practices her limited combat skills.

Lived with Xavier Burel and Arya Drifa for a short time when she was suppose to be earning her Marque as an adept.
History: Ellette was born Liana, daughter of two Yeshuite parents who where living in Kusheth. When she was only a few months old they packed up their things, sold their land, and started on a journey north to their home lands. They where going to take a detour through Terre d’Ange to pick up their son whom they had sent away due to some troubled behavior. Before her parents could get out of Kusheth a group of bandits attacked and killed them and making off with their goods. The leader of the bandits decided not to kill the baby but to raise her as his own, though she was treated more like a pet than anything else. He taught her how to pick pocket, steal, and sneak without being seen. The leader made her a birthday, not knowing her true birthday. When she was 13 according to his calendar he held a big drunken feast. One of the bandits drank to much, revealing to Ellette her true background, how she was living with the very people who killed her parents. Shocked and angry Ellette ran away finding herself near the Night’s Doorstep and behind the White House Manor begging for food. One of the cooks felt sorry for the little girl and hired her in the kitchens.
Ellette worked at the White House Manor for a few months when the Dowayne from Dahlia came in for a afternoon brunch. Ellette served her and the Dowayne found her intriguing. She seemed to have a natural grace even though Ellette still had the look of a hard life on her. The Dowayne felt that she could mold Ellette and make a good adept out of her. She bargained with the head cook and was able to easily buy the girl off the cook. She was careful in how she approached Ellette and made sure the girl realized the Night Court was a step up from the life she was living now. The cook told Ellette that she couldn’t stay at the Manor so Ellette went with the Dowayne as an adept of Dahlia House.
Ellette grew well as an adept though she did not stand out as anything overly special. She is still a little too rough around the edges for some, though she has the grace that comes from the agility she learned as a child. She is still earning her marque.
When Ellette was 17 she happened to meet her brother Rannan, who was residing in Terre d'Ange. This opened up a ball of emotions and Ellette did not really handle the meeting well. She was bitter that he grew well while she had a childhood filled with fear. She keeps him at a cold distance, even though Rannan tries all he can to become the wanted older brother. There was one fateful event in which Rannan asked Ellette to help him track down a friend that he learned had be sold into slavery. Though Ellette didn't have a history of rescuing damsels, the sense of adventure and danger appealed to Ellette more than she would admit to anyone, including herself. It also gave her some sense of respect for her brother. She was less cold to him after and even enjoyed spending time with him on occasion. She is still not the warmest of sisters, however.

Not long after meeting Rannan Ellette also meet a mysterious man named Xavier. The two quickly fell in love and they made plans to sneak Ellette out of Dahlia, for good. Things went as planned and Ellette and Xavier lived together in a small house that he had procured for that use along with another little urchin he had picked up. About six months into Ellette's new life X disappeared. She did not know if he meet any ill will or if he just decided to run. Ellette tried to watch the young girl, Arya, in X's absence but she fell into a depression. The girl ended up drifting off, no longer finding adequate care and Ellette continued her spiral into depression. One day while she was roaming around, not paying attention to her surroundings, a former client of hers saw her. He recognized her and had heard of her disappearance. He went straight to the Dowayne and notified her. Dahlia went out and collected their wayward adept. Ellette was flogged as an example to the other adepts. She was also sentenced to earn a value equal to 1/5th of her marque before she could work on her actual marque again. She is also not allowed out without an escort, a spot mostly just filled by occasional visits from Rannan. Ellette is halfway through her servitude.
