Appearance: Tall, dark and exotic. All good words to describe Chanda, though he isn't much taller than average at about 5'10. He bears the deeply tanned skin, black hair and warm brown eyes of his Jasmine mother -along with the temperament of her house. The strong line of his jaw and the almost insolent cast to his face, on the other hand, are tell-tales from his father. His lithe form exudes sensuality seemingly from every pore. Wavy, frequently tousled, hair hangs nearly to his midsection like the mane of an unbroken stallion... which wouldn't be an entirely inaccurate way of describing Chanda himself.
Personality: Being raised in both Jasmine and Dahlia, Chanda is both sensual and a bit haughty. He's also a little lazy, and is usually charming enough to get someone else to do something if he doesn't want to. Fortunately, he found his lessons interesting enough that he only occasionally skipped them. He's fairly intelligent and is an exemplary adept.
He isn't particular in his taste for partners. Men, women, top, bottom. He seeks pleasure in all it's forms. Going so far as to want to try all the pleasures of the other Houses. They may not all be to his taste, but he's willing to try about anything once... or repeatedly if he enjoys it.
Truly, he lives up to his name, which means “Fierce, hot, passionate” in Bhodistani. He can be moody and mercurial, inconstant as a flame. Chanda approaches everything with passion, in the bedchamber and out, negative or positive. He is passionate in bed, in an argument, in his joys and annoyances.
He takes pride in his family, his House and his skills, but unlike a Dahlia, he doesn't bestow himself upon his patrons like a king. Instead he drowns them in pleasure, indulging in his own, and leaves them knowing that they've experienced something amazing... and he takes pride in that, too.
History: Chanda's mother was an adept of Jasmine House named Désirée de Souverain, his father Aubert nó Dahlia. Though they married, they both chose to stay at their respective houses, so while he lived with his mother at Jasmine house, Chanda spent a lot of time traveling between the two. But it was clear from a young age that he would follow in his mother's footsteps... despite having a streak of pride much more suited to a Dahlia.
It didn't help that he was indulged and given his way in near everything growing up. It was just too hard to say no to the beautiful, bewitching boy... and the tantrums he threw when denied! But he was always quick to cool, to forgive. And most of the time, Chanda was far too laid back, his haughtiness more of an affectation than true pride, to ever be a real consideration for his father's House.
His mother's family had served Naamah from time out of mind and had always produced exceptional adepts, so there was always a certain amount of pressure for him to excel above and beyond the average adept. Luckily, this proved no challenge for the talented, passionate young man. Chanda's debut came and went, fairly unremarkable, save to his patron, who was heard to say that it would've been worth thrice the amount he'd paid. In the two years since, he's been a popular adept, well-liked by both his housemates and his patrons, and has made about two thirds of his marque.
