Character Name: Elouan Morel
Age: 43
Rank/Title: Priest of Eisheth, Former Adept of Gentian
Race: d'Angeline
Country/Province: L'Agnace
Townhome Request: Temple of Eisheth
Player: Gladioulus
Appearance/Personality: Elouan has dark hair and dark eyes; and though he is getting close to mid-life, he still has a certain youthfulness about him. During his time at Gentian, he was known as a gentle lover. He can act distracted from time to time, due to visions and his talents of reading omens.
History: Elouan's parents were a distant cousin of the Shahrizai clan and a l'Agnacite farmer. He spent his early childhood on his paternal family's almond farm with his slew of brothers and sisters. Even from a young age, he was especially devout: he adored visiting the various temples in the nearby City of Elua.
When he was fourteen, his family fell on hard times. In order to make ends meet, to feed the younger children, his parents sent away Elouan's older siblings; and they took him to the Night Court for money.
Heliotrope took him in at first, believing that his devotion to the gods would become devotion to his patrons. But soon after he arrived at the Night Court, he began having visions. Heliotrope bargained with Gentian, and eventually sent the boy to Gentian. At Gentian, Elouan was taught to interpret his visions - and to interpret others' dreams and visions. After his debut, he became known for his ability to interpret prophetic dreams and to lull insomniacs to sleep. He made progress towards his mark steadily, until he was fully marked.
It was a few years after the completion of his marque that he experienced a vision of Eisheth that instructed him to leave the Night Court and become a Priest of Eisheth. Elouan obeyed.
He now lives at the Temple of Eisheth and wears Her sea-blue robes. He still accepts the occasional assignation, and also helps those with visions and sleep problems, in addition to his duties as a priest.
