Appearance: Reichard is short for a d'Angeline man, coming in at only 5'7". He has charming good looks that more than make up for his height and a well toned body, even at his age. His hair is a rich dark brown that appears black in low light. His eyes are a bright blue and he has a charming smile that makes him look far more innocent than he really is.
Personality: Reichard is a pretty man who know's he's pretty and obsesses over staying that way. If he hears of a new method of chasing away any signs of aging, he is willing to pay any fee to try it. He spends hours every day on his appearance and physical fitness. He also watches his food intake, taking care not to eat too much to avoid putting on weight. He'll fast all day if he knows that he'll be attending a social event where the expectation is for him to eat a lot. When in the company of the peerage Reichard is charming, laid back, and seems to have no care in the world. His estates are always blooming and he never admits to any troubles. When he's at home he's uptight, demanding, and pays little attention to anyone who is not him. Only a few close friends see something closer to his true persona, a persona they usually put up with since Reichard will keep any secret and often spends large amounts of money on lavish comforts and vices.

History:: Reichard was a third child to Percival Monceaux and Capriana Buccini Monceaux. Capriana and Percival meet while Percival was on vacation in Caerdicca Unitas. They fell madly in love and were married within a month, much to the disapproval of both families. Their love proved to be true and lasting. Capriana moved to Percival's estates in Siovale. As her parents aged and eventually died she liquidated her inheritance, adding it to the already well of coffers of the Monceaux family. Their lands are along the coast of Siovale. The lands are fertile and good for growing difficult and exotic foods. The waters offer seafood and the family owns a small port that they rent out to smaller shipping vessels. Capriana came from a wealthy noble family and her inheritance allowed Percival to update his port, winery, and other buildings. The high quality facilities allowed for higher prices and the couple did very well for themselves.
Though life was going very well for them on the financial side, things were less well on the family side. Capriana had five pregnancies, but only one survived past the age of two. Two of the pregnancies ended in still births, their first living child was a son who died within the first six weeks. Their second living child was Reichard, who was born strong and healthy. Lastly they had a little girl. She survived infanthood, but at the young age of 18 months she ate a poisonous mushroom while wondering around outside on a family outing. Though her parents caught her quickly in the act, it was not quick enough to save her. After that loss they decided they could handle no more and Capriana was careful to never become pregnant until age closed her womb.
Reichard was five when his sister died, an event that he remembers vaguely as a dark time in his family's life. As a result, however, his parents doted on him, giving him everything he could ever want. They worried over him, panicking at every illness and scratch. He was taught all of the basic lessons of a noble child. However, if the parents felt they were too hard or they were stressing him out then he would be removed from the lessons and allowed to play for the rest of the day. The family's servants were taught to notify the parents of any small slight so they could run to his aid. As a result, Reichard grew up in a a strange life of fear and over indulgence. He knew on a basic level that his parents were hurt deeply by the deaths of their other children and he did not want to add to that pain. However, their indulgence drove into him that he was special and entitled.

Reichard was an adorable child with a innocent boyish charm about him. As he grew into adolescence his charm seemed to grow as his hormones did. By the time he hit his 16th natal he had no trouble attracting members of any gender. He quickly learned the joys of Namaah's pleasures and became obsessed with the idea of the Night Court. At 16 he was far to old to join and there was no way that his parents were going to let him move out where they couldn't watch over him. But, they did hire a tutor to teach him the ways of Namaah and he learned all he could about the tenants of the night court. He did not join into Namaah's service, but he learned all he could about maintaining a perfect physical appearance. He also learned their skills and practiced them on all of his lovers.
As he grew older he only seemed to grow even more attractive. He didn't reach his peak in his 20s as some men do. He attributed his good looks, strength, and vitality to the steps he took in maintaining his physical appearance and health. His parents taught him how to run their estates, but they still maintained their usual care in not over stressing him. This meant he had a lot of free time to do as he pleased.

When Reichard was 31 his father died suddenly of chest pains. This threw his mother into a deep depression and she slowly withered away, even though Reichard did everything he could to make her feel better. The attention that she gave him seemed to die with his father. Within three months she died too, her faded body going to sleep one night and never waking again. Reichard knew his father's death was a unfortunate act of nature, but he felt betrayed by his mother. He had been the perfect son that she wanted. Perfect in health and mind, making sure he would not grow gravely ill or become maimed. Yet, she almost seemed to completely forget about him after his father died.
Even though Reichard was of an age that should have made him a perfect candidate to take on the responsibilities of a noble, he was not. His parents' shielding left him unready for the work. He had never been made to attend any political events and he was at a loss when it came to making sessions for laws or acts that would help his lands. He was, at least, smart enough to see his failings and he hired one of his old tutors to help him run the place. With her assistance he was able to keep everything from going under. Also, without his parents there, he was free to truly explore his wants and desires, and explore them he did.

He left a decent wage for his tutor, better pay then she had ever received, and he left to see the world. He would play and spend money like his coffers were unlimited. When he had them nearly drained missive from his assistant would drag him home and he would behave himself for a short while. While traveling on these ventures he would meet people of all sorts. He wanted to learn about the world that his parents had shielded him from. He also had two goals in life. His first goal is to find every way possible to keep himself young and beautiful. Even though his parents are no longer around to fret over his health, old habits die hard and old anxieties never truly die. Second, he wants to find ways to keep his coffers full for longer spans of time. His estates bore him. He never strayed far from them for 31 years. He hates it when he's trapped there.
Reichard has grown smarter about the world as he's spent more time in it. He's a very late bloomer, but he's still managed to bloom. He knows where one could spend coin in darker allies and end up leaving with heavier pockets. He also knows where one can find the world's greatest vices. However, he also knows that one must be very careful about who see's you enjoying those vices.
