Race: D'Angeline
Country/Province: Azzalle
Townhome Request: Manoir Mouette (Seagull Manor)
Country Home Request: Château sur les falaises (Castle on the cliffs)
Player: Merle
Appearance: To describe Honoré is to describe both he and his brother for, save for some quirks of mannerism, the two young men are identical. Right down to the scar they both bear. A stark line cutting across one high, sculpted cheekbone - in Juste's case, literally so. Originally the tell-tale of a rough tumble Honoré took climbing down the cliffs near their home to the beach, the pair felt so ill at ease with the sudden difference in their appearance that eventually they decided (a decision helped along by the brashness of youth and spirits) to remedy the situation.
Aside from that distinctive mark that simultaneously sets them apart and makes them virtually indistinguishable once more, they are typical attractive D'Angelines. They are tall and lithe, their skin smooth, features angular and aristocratic. Beneath carelessly tousled locks that vary in shade from medium brown to dark blond, they also share eyes of a blue-grey that echoes the sea they are named for and grew up overlooking.
The only way to tell the brothers apart, and it is by no means certain, is that Juste tends to smile more than his brother. Whilst Honoré is more like to smirk or scowl, depending on his mood. That is not to say that they are polar opposites, but they certainly differ far more in demeanor than appearance.

Personality: Unlike his friendly, outgoing brother, Honoré is a more cynical, anti-social sort. Often reticent and contemplative. Or quick to make a scathing remark. He is perfectly capable of being personable and charming when he wants to be, which is subject to his mercurial whims, or when he has need to be - such as when playing the part of Juste. But save with family and a few close friends, it's not usually as genuine.
All three of the de la Mer triplets share in a sense of puckishness, though the motivations and inclination vary from one to the other. For his part, the eldest brother's sense of humor and fun can be more biting than that of the other two. Which Juste and Prudence know very well, as they're no more immune to his snark than anyone, but in their case at least, there's nothing malicious in it. Honoré adores them, and is generally indulgent, and rather protective, of his 'younger' siblings.

History: The Vicomte Jean de la Mer, his lady wife Claudette, and their beloved consort, Beatrice Gireaux, wanted nothing so much as to see their family grow. It was with great anticipation that they all awaited the day that Claudette would bear a child. They waited... and waited... eagerness turning to frustration and sorrow as time went by. Years of trying, even after resorting to the aid of physicians, bore no fruit for the Mer household. The Vicomtesse's womb remained empty. In a last desperate effort, after countless prayers and failures, the three sought out an apothecary renowned for helping women conceive.
After several months fraught with bitter herbs, tinctures, and fervent hoping, the Mer household had their hopes come true as Claudette finally became pregnant. She and her loves were ecstatic, and much thanks were given to Eisheth and the apothecary - their gratitude only doubling when, about half way through her pregnancy, it was determined that she would likely give birth to twins.
Excited, and nervous, the trio prepared themselves and their home insofar as they could to welcome the two blessings they'd been praying for. Much to everyone's shock -and delight- they were given not two, but three. Triplets rather than twins. The day Honoré, Juste and Prudence came into the world, the household of the de la Mers ceased to ever be a quiet one. The family was nearly overcome with their joy, but there were, of course, challenges and trials to suddenly having three infants. Fortunately, these struggles were made easier by the fact that they had as many doting parents, for though it was Claudette that bore the bebes, Beatrice loved the children just as fiercely and was as a second mother to them.
Growing up they had little want for anything in the home that loved them, spoiled them, and their childhood was a largely happy one. Nigh inseparable, the three got up to a fair bit of mischief making the gentle hills, stark cliffs and lazy seaside villages of the Azzallese countryside around Château sur les falaises their playground, but as ever, they were the joy of their parents' eyes.
When they turned sixteen, the triplets left home for the University of Tiberium, spending three years there following their passions, expanding their minds, and continuing their playful ways even abroad. Each had their preferences and strengths, of course. Honoré and Prudence took to most of their studies with pleasure, the former having a particular zest for philosophical debate, while Juste enjoyed history and politics... and absolutely loathed mathematics.
It wasn't only scholarly pursuits, however. They made sure to make ample time to enjoy the rest of the city's culture during their time in Tiberium... and to find trouble, too. Juste, for one, was fond of talking his brother into covering classes for him (most especially his hated maths), either in exchange for taking Honoré's place in one of the few lectures he didn't care for or finding some other way to repay him. It was also during this time they concocted the brilliantly foolhardy plan to make themselves match again, and carried out said plan amidst their sister's protests and dubious assistance. Much to their parents' later ire.
After their studies were concluded, the trio returned home to Terre d'Ange - three years older and wiser, or at least more knowledgeable. First they headed back home to Azzalle, but they were still very eager to explore, and for the next few years they traveled around the country, spending some time in both the capital city and their home province amongst other places. Only recently have the triplets decided to take a bit longer stay in the City as they inject themselves more fully into the game that is the D'Angeline Court.
