He is just a few inches over 6' tall and keeps himself fit, though fitness of one who doesn't perform a lot of hard labor.
Personality: Hadrien is a man of his environment, filling in the role that is required. In all of those roles he is a confident man. When he is singing for Eglantinehe is charming and suave. When he is filling the role of one of Naamah's servants he is the partner that is needed. He can be charming and sweet or something a bit darker. When he is with his friends he is a bit of a rebel, honest in the fact he finds most social propriety just there to keep those without power in their place. He has a darker side as well, but one that only comes out when he's with someone who will appreciate it.

History: Hadrien was born in the famed Coste musician family. A family that sings, plays instruments, and creates their own music. Their name has reached to the Providences outside of L'Agnace.
Hadrien was the third child of Brice and Edgard Coste, a pair known for their love songs and duets. The couple loved their children and their music equally and did their best to balance the two. They continued the Coste family tradition of letting their children be raised by the family compound, which helped with that balancing act.
The entire Coste family lives on a singular compound near the edges of L'Agnance. The Children all play and run around together while also being exposed to music and song at an early age. They are given time to find their true talents, even if it happens to not be in musical endeavors. Care of the children is split among all of the adults, allowing the busier ones to fulfill all of their musical obligations and have time to truly build their talents. The Coste name is known and the family want's it's reputation to be maintained.
Hadrien found his talent at an early age. He had an uncanny ability to match the tone and pitch of the singing adults. He was limited by his child's voice, but as he aged he developed his voice and had an impressive range even at the young age of 10. Hadrien even had a few public performances as a young child, though they were short and only a song or two in length. His voice and talent was perfect for the Coste family, but his personality and attitude was not.
Hadrien seemed born to challenge the status quo, even as an infant. He never seemed to want sleep and would keep the house awake all night with screams that made it seem as if Kushiel himself was wielding one of his rods at his skin. The parents took the poor infant to many healers but the only solution seemed to be to give the baby a small amount of a sleeping drug. Hadrien managed to survive his infanthood and grew into an defiant toddler and then defiant child. When his interest in singing would perk he would become a agreeable kid and practice for hours with his family. When he was bored with that he was everything but agreeable. His parents tried many things to get Hadrien to meld into the family, but the only thing that seemed to make the child happy was complete control of himself and the life around him.
The busy life of the Coste family did not work well with attempts to tame a child. Eventually they decided that Hadrien had spent enough time interrupting their lives and making everyone miserable. They sat him down and discussed finding a different course for him, one that would let him out of the world he seemed to dislike so much. There were not many options, Hadrien did want to sing and be a musician, but there was something about the lose family dynamic that didn't sit well with him.
The family, with Hadrien's agreement, decided to visit Eglantine. Eglantine was structured and more routine than the Coste family. They had rules that applied to all. Life for the younger children was fairly routine. There were set lessons, not random events started by some family member's whim.
When Hadrien was debuted before the Dowayne he was on his best behavior, though the Dowayne could easily spy out that there were some rough edges on him. He sang for her, showing her his range. The mother asked the Dowayne to let her demonstrate Hadrien's ability to perfectly match pitch and the Dowayne sang randomly chosen notes to test the boy. His skill was quite apparent and the Dowayne decided to contract him, though with a warning about harsh discipline for those who couldn't listen.
Hadrien had a few rough starts and even managed two visits to the whipping pole. Eventually he fit into the routine of Eglantine and focused on his singing career. He did well and the Dowayne had no difficulties finding a Patron willing to give Hadrien a good start on his marque.
As Hadrien developed into a man his voice did as well. When his voice was fully developed Hadrien was a baritone that could reach into a deep base. He was contracted for a range of events from romantic evenings to funeral processions. Some of the Capet's fans learned that a family member had ended up At Eglantine and some sought him out for that reason, wondering if being fostered at Eglantine would create a different sort of Capet singer. He was even contacted once, With Eglantine's blessing, to sing at a large family affair. In the vocal side of Hadrien's life he excelled and was quite confident in. When it came to the arts of passion, it was a different story.
As his voice had developed, so had his body. Hadrien grew into a tall and handsome man, as many d'Angeline men do. His handsomeness was of a pleasant sort that did not stand out in a crowd, especially when ones crowd was full of angels. His height was average for d'Angeline men, albeit on the slightly taller end. His physic was toned, but again of an average built. His ability to blend in was good when he was contacted to be the voice in the corner. In a way his ability to blend became his salvation when the part of his life that dealt with physical pleasures didn't go as planned.
While Hadrien's patrons would not have voiced a lot of complaint, Hadrien son found himself dissatisfied with the love making side of his adepthood. He was trained in the arts and could perform them, but the pleasure often felt one sided. He hid this from his patrons, but he did consult some of the Adept instructors At Eglantine. They gave him advice on self pleasuring techniques, but they still didn't satisfy Hadrien in the way he wanted.

When Hadrien was 17 a patron found a deep pleasure in Hadrien's deepening voice and contracted him to sing to her while making love. He quickly learned that he could control her pleasure with the sound of his voice. This control brought out a sense of drop pleasure that he had been longing for as an adept and he finally found what he was missing. Later that year, at Midwinter, he sought out a Valerian adept to spend the evening with and truly learned how deep and dark his pleasure could go. He didn't long only for sadism and blood, but he didn't dislike it either. Anything that would turn his partner into a pleading pile of pleasure appealed to him.
With a voice more unique than his face, Hadrien was able to gain asignations where he could practice some level of control. Not all were to his pleasure, if course, but enough would come along that he wouldn't feel like a completely sexually frustrated adult. Every midwinter he would truly let himself out, dragging out the first willing Valerian and exhausting the both of them.

When Hadrien finally made his mark at the age of 22 he gained some freedom and could contact an adept on rare occasion, or find more affordable pleasures in the streets of Monte Nuit. He still went to the Adept's Midwinter every year and sought out a willing Valerian, but now with a little less desperation. Rumor also spread that there was an Eglantine who liked the darker arts. The Eglantine Dowayne sent most of those seekers to Mandrake with a reminder of the House canons. Those that were more subtle, or knew to simply ask for Hadrien, were let in. With these patrons and the freedom to seek out his own partners Hadrien was able to manage his desires and continue as a mostly respectable Eglantine adept.
Even though Hadrien could have left and returned to his family with open arms, he has chosen to stay at Eglantine as a performer for them. He gives vocal lessons to some adepts, especially those of a deeper voice who want or need to expand their range. He is a strict instructor, but he brings the desired results more often than not. He has also moved into the unlikely position of helping other adepts find pleasure in their work when they feel there is none, as position he created himself, unofficially, after learning there were others like him. Though they are not often those seeking sharper pleasures, Hadrien still tries to help then figure out what it is they need. He believes that adepts should only be slaves to the pleasures of others if they truly want it. The notion is in line with Naamah's teachings so he has been allowed to take time from the adept's busy schedules when such issues arise.
Hadrien is the picture of suave elegance as a singer, a tough voice instructor, a seeker of pleasure for those who need it, and a dark soul in the bedroom demanding complete submission when the right person is before him.
