Race: d'Angeline
Country/Province: Camlach
Townhome Request: "Maison des Belles Vues," West Borough, Peacock District
Country Home Request: "Maison sur la Colline Venteuse," Camlach
Player: Gladiolus
Appearance/Personality: Unlike her mother or siblings, Ghislaine was not born with the silver-blonde hair common among Camaelines. Instead, she has rich brunette locks. Who this hair coloring came from, no one knows. It is not as though Ghislaine's mother kept track of her lovers or trysts.
Ghislaine did, however, inherit her mother's and sisters' gray eyes. Ghislaine's eyes have always been described as aloof, stern, and wild - aloof like an icy mountain in the distance, stern like an iron rod, and wild like the packs of wolves that roam the countryside. Those who have seen Ghislaine's eyes rarely forget them, even if they forget most other things about the woman.

Family members:
Honorée-Sophie Bois-le-Garde, mother (deceased)
father unknown
Marquise Margot Bois-le-Garde, sister, 51
Lorraine Bois-le-Garde, sister, 44
Bettina Basilique (née Bois-le-Garde), 36
History: Ghislaine grew up in the rocky hills of Camlach alongside three sword-wielding sisters and behind the Marquise Honorée-Sophie Bois-le-Garde, a woman better known as the She-Wolf among Skaldi and d'Angelines alike. Ghislaine learned to bear a sword, shoot a bow, track an enemy, and lead an army. But among the four girls that the She-Wolf raised, Ghislaine was the only one better suited to dresses, makeup, and politics. The She-Wolf realized this early and had Ghislaine fostered over the summers with a branch of the L'Envers in Namarre. Winters, of course, were spent on the Skaldic-d'Angeline border with Bois-le-Garde and Unforgiven soldiers.
It was during the summer of her fifteen year, boarding with the L'Envers, that Ghislaine met Jacques L'Envers, a purple-eyed beauty of the age of sixteen with plenty of spirit but no hopes of inheriting anything. They became fast friends. And Ghislaine and the boy had great hopes that, upon her coming-of-age, that they would be lovers and that they would marry.
But upon Ghislaine's sixteenth natale, holed up in a Camaeline camp, with the snow waist-deep, the She-Wolf received a message. The Comtesse had arranged a marriage for her least warrior-like daughter. The She-Wolf may have been a better warrior than politician, but she understood that some wars were not won on the battlefield but in the bedrooms of famous houses. The She-Wolf had found her daughter Bertrand d'Aiglemort, a man twenty years Ghislaine's senior but a man with a massive force that he promised to the She-Wolf. And very valuable ties to the royal court in the City of Elua.
No one disobeyed the She-Wolf, so Ghislaine cut off contact with her childhood sweetheart and went bravely into her marriage with Bertrand d'Aiglemort - though she kept her own name as a badge of honor for her mother and as a way to show she did not choose d'Aiglemort for herself. She and he were never in love - and it seemed only to bring them misfortune in their personal lives - but they climbed the political ladder for twenty years. And then, just as it seemed that Ghislaine and Bertrand would truly solidify power, Bertrand died of an unknown illness.
Ghislaine retired for a year of morning to live with her two surviving sisters at the Bois-le-Garde Marquisate. Then, she returned to the City of Elua. She liquidated her husband's assets and purchased herself a new townhome where she promises herself she will fashion her own way.
Updates:
Ghislaine was warden to Lydia d'Aiglemort, a cousin who fell in love with a Shahrizai man.
Ghislaine also had a tryst with Fiacre Shahrizai, which ended in heartbreak (for Ghislaine).
