Appearance: Saina is 5'9", naturally thin, and comes across somewhat regally. Her hair is pale blonde and she has pale blue eyes. She has skin pale enough for Cereus house and it still holds all the glow of her youth. Her most notable feature is her wide mouth and strong cheek bones. A feature that could look awkward on some, but is perfectly suited for her face.
Personality: Saina is an outgoing and charming woman. She has a deep love for her siblings and she has built her life around her ability to help them. For her, trust is the most important trait that one can have. She won't keep a client that she can't trust. She will also not keep a client who does not trust her. She also has a very analytical mind and loves any hobby or activity that lets her put her logic and knowledge to the test.
History: Saina was born of Adept parents who came from further generations of adept parents. She was one of three, triplets born of red, blonde, and dark brown hair. Their father was from Eglantine and the three were raised there. As their hair was of very different colors, so were their personalities. Sania loved her siblings, the two she shared a birthday with and a sister and brother with which she did not.
As she grew there was much discussion about which house Saina would end up in. She was pale like her mother and easily fit into the Cereus cannon. She was regal enough for Dahlia, had a smile bright and charming enough for Orchis, and loved games as much as the Byrony. However, when the time came, she requested to be placed among the Valerian. She knew the House cannons and wanted to join a house that put the utmost faith in their patrons. She ate the candy and understood the pleasure that could be found in given pain. She was taken in and flourished, finding joy and pleasure in assignations of all types.
Like her adept siblings, Saina did well in her house. She put her full effort in learning all of the skills and tricks of the trade. The triplets kept in close contact and she wanted to make sure she completed her mark around the same time that they did. The Valerian dowayne and second also prized her as an adept. She set strict boundaries and would not abide by any patron breaking them. If her Patrons kept her trust, they knew that they could take her very far. She would do the most demeaning tasks and take on extreme pain. However, if they didn't give her respect or hesitated in following her signale, then they were quite quickly out of the door and never let back into Valerian. This gave her some very loyal patrons and on some occasions she was chosen by the dowayne if she was unsure of a patron's ability to do as he or she was suppose to. No one especially dangerous was allowed in, of course, but some Patrons liked to tease at their limits and Saina was good at keeping those boundaries tight. More than one Patron lost access to all of the Night Court after not respecting Saina.
Saina completed her marque by the time she was 22. She stayed at Valerian for a few extra years, but she left when her brother Savin asked her to move in. Though she loved Valerian, her love for her siblings was stronger and she wanted to be there to protect them more than adepts who didn't know how to maintain heir boundaries.
When she left Valerian Saina became an independent servant of Naamah. She mainly serviced clients that she knew from Valerian or their close friends. She still maintained the rules set forth at Valerian, making sure each Patron signed a contract with the rules and limits laid out. She had more time without House duties and she used that time to follow her interest in numbers and logic.
As her years outside of Valerian passed by she spent more time with learning and less time with Patrons. She kept those visits few and in exchange, was able to ask a good price for each of her assignations. She learned about laws related to land ownership and nobility. As her Patrons learned of her knowledge on the topic they started to come to her regarding legal matters and not only for sex. She was able to become a self made Solicitor and occasionally helped with simpler matters of accounting. She was good at both and started helping nobles who thought their stewards were cheating them.
As her skills as an accountant and solicitor spread Saina decided that she needed a new name. She was not always taken seriously in her occupation as someone associated with Valerian house. Her family's long history of living among the Night Court meant that there was some debate about which last name they came from. Saina decided she didn't really care about that history and instead choose a name of her own. She had heard a story as a child of a boy named Pierre Fermat who had tricked a wicked wizard by outsmarting him with the use of arithmetic. Saina adopted the name and legally changed herself to Saina Fermat.
At the age of 34 Saina was approached by an employee of the Palace's Exchequeur. It seemed that the Chancellor had heard of her skill in settling disputes and he was interested in adding her to his office, though only as an apprentice at first. He needed to determine whether or not she was the right fit. Saina excepted the offer without hesitation. She is still a new member of the Exchequeur and is usually tasked with long hours of work that no one else really wants to do. She knows that it's only the begenning and that she will be offered better things once she has proved herself. She has taken on her new role with enthusiasm.
Even with her new duties, Saina still tries to find time to meet with her most dear clients and continue some freelance solicitor jobs, though she is mostly just tying up loose ends. She is careful to not accept any job that may be seen as a conflict of interest with her new position.
Saina juggles a very busy life, but loves every moment of it. Her siblings come first and her new found duties are a close second. She still has clients she cares for. The rest of her time is spent in logic and building up the skills that she uses to try and clean up some of the mess that is created by high strung emotions and a sticky and complicated world.
