Rank/Title: Untitled Noble
Race: Dalriada
Country/Province: Alba, Innisclan

Marital Status: Widowed

Appearance/Personality: Ansley appears younger than her 23 years would suggest and she is proud to be mistaken for the twin of her baby sister Ashlin, that she loves so much. They were always very close and they were the balance of each other from the very start. Where Ashlin was adventurous and firey, Ansley is more warm and grounded. Growing up it was always said she had the more sensible head on her shoulders between the two of them. But now she has become overly cautious after the death of her husband. Grief usually shines out from her blue-green eyes and sadness now pulls at her full lips, where smiles and laughter once lived. But beyond her personal tragedy, Ansley is committed to family. She has a new born daughter to care for so she throws herself into that task, even refusing to fully allow the nurse, Betsy, to do her duty caring for the newborn girl. In her dreams she seems to remember that she had been strong and fearless growing up but on waking each morning she remembers that now all her stability has been shattered. Trying to hide her grief she has become more reserved, a woman who sensibly keeps her long, thick hair in a bun at the nape of her neck or in a thick braid hanging down her back. Though stray hairs often frame her face and she is constantly tucking them behind her ears.

Strengths and Weaknesses: Ansley's is a strong and fearless woman deep down but her grief at the loss of her husband is threatening to pull her into a spiral of despair. Only her daughter, and the hope of being with her beloved sister again keeps her going now. Ansley can also be very stubborn to the point of recklessness.

History: Ansley grew up seventh in a family of nine, all of them boys except for herself and her baby sister who always seemed to be getting into trouble. But Ansley had seen it as part of her job to pull Ashlin out of the messes she found herself in. When Ansley was young she enjoyed her studies and excelled at bookkeeping, and like her whole family loved languages and literature. She doesn't share her family's passion for all things D'Angeline however, but does have an eye for beauty. But above all she loves her family and her homeland. She is willing to do anything for either of them.

Recently, Ansley has had a terrible tragedy in her life. She had been married less than two years and was heavily pregnant but not at term, when her young husband had gone stag hunting on their lands with his friends. But what had started out as a day's adventure had turned to tragedy. While creeping up to a prime 6 point bull, one of the men stumbled into the brush and flushed a sleeping boar from his hiding place. Huge and angry he charged the first person he had seen, and that had been her husband. He had never stood a chance. The boar crashed into him at full speed, it's heavy tusk tearing into the soft flesh of his belly.

His men had carried him home and up to their bed. He had taken over a week die. All Ansley could do was watch helplessly as he did. The experience has scarred her and she wasted away during the last of her pregnancy. As a consequence her daughter was born 3 weeks too soon, and was a slight thing who struggled to live for the first few weeks of life. She has named her Alia.

It's been three months now and her daughter is growing stronger and unable to stand the loneliness any longer, Ansley is now on her way to Terra d'Ange to be with her beloved sister again. She is traveling with her daughter Alia, her younger brother Byron, and her daughter's wet nurse, Betsy.
